Topic : Define the state,nation,country and sovereignty and explain their conceptual relations to politics.

Firstly,we have to make something clear.These definitions,which is defined as state,nation,country and sovereignty,are complety different between each other.Many people in the world,also the people in poor country without thinking politics correctly,think these definitions have definetly same meanings.They cluttered all of these definitions with each other.

According to Wikipedia the definition of “state” is a political association with effective sovereignty over a geographic and delineating population (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/State). It is hard to definite collective definition in all times.Because,state is a fact that is divided two as “multi-directional” and abstract.So that every point of view,every discipline and every ideology define their state definition with their own ideas.We have to unite these parts for understanding state as a whole.We should know what is exactly states means.Also according to James N.Danzigner who has his own book that’s name is “Understanding Political World” enables us to understand what exactly state’s definition means therefore James N.Danzigner said roughly same things for his own state’s meaning.James N.Danzigner told for states to be mained on small groups actually.In the begining of the growth of state,people lived under some group,in my opinion this mean there is a power that put in order to people to live with each other in peaceful,then these groups became larger and larger movement shape like tribes or bands and these shapes more huge kindship ties.Otherwise,there are some components to become a state for these groups.These components are divided three as human component (that is included nation because every human has a nationality to survive with each others against life) , sovereignty component and country component for to be a state.As you see,definition of state definetly related with other elements that are called sovereignty,nation and country and also there are six types of state shape.

• Singular State
• Composite State (which are divided two as federation and confederation)
• Monarchic State
• Oligarchic State
• Theocratic State
• Democratic State

In that case,phenomenon of state is the most important thing in the world now.Because we know the nations and countries which they have not state and government to get organized the for living peaceful in the world.For instance,Palestine is a land that has a nation but no state.Because of this,Palestine is in the war against Israel to win their land back and to live in their land peaceful.On the other hand,the United States of America has a state a state but not nation like Turks.We cannot call the people who living in the United States of America as American society.We call them as Polish American,British American,German American,Turkish American and with other nationalities.So there are many examples to find and show the people importance of being a state.

The second important term of politics nation of course.A “nation” is a human culture and social community,which in as much as most members never meet each other,yet feel a main bond,it may be considered an imagined community (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nation). Nations have people that are hold to same language same culture and etc.That’s why we have to some rules to say a group as nation :

• They must speak same language.
• They must have a historical past.
• The group that is living with themselves now,also has a belief to live together in the future.
• They must have common cultural beliefs.

We must need to call a group as nation.Nation is also the first factor and most important thing of country and nation relation with politics after state definiton.According to Aristo who was a philosopher in Ancient Grek : “All the efficiencied who is done by the society for public”.That’s why many states that has not enough nation beliefs,conquered from many states that has a nation belief.

In my opinion,it is very important for person to feel itself like a member of a nation.Of course we could not select our wanted to be a member of a nation but we have tol ive as a member of a nation but we have to live as a member of nation what we join.For example,in North Cyprus that is a nation which is called Turkish-Cypriots.They have no state (there is a state that is called TRNC but not recognize from other countries especially Greece and South Cyprus government).
